The Painted Pansy

About the artisan

The artisan, Sherry, has been doing various arts and crafts for many years. She has now turned her attention to hand painting glassware and various gift items. All of the glassware that she paints is oven baked so that it is dishwasher safe. Both the glassware and the gift items are lacquered so that the hand painted designs have an extra layer of security.

She started out painting these items as gifts for some friends and family members. As their friends and family saw them, and word of mouth spread, she decided that she needed to finally get out of the "dark" ages and put up a web site so that everyone can see what she has to offer. Now, for the first time, we can all enjoy the wonderful quality and care that Sherry puts into each and every one of the items that she paints. And yes, she can take requests, from time to time.

The story of The Painted Pansy

The Painted Pansy started out, as we said above, because of the artisans love of crafts. When she started to paint glassware and gifts, flowers and floral arangements were what people seemed to want, and thus "The Painted Pansy" came to be. They are located in Raymond, NH. They also have a sister company, Wonders in Wood. Wonders in Wood is the official home of "The Cowboy Cabinet Maker". Between the two, they are hoping that they can put their new grandson through Harvard for about a month. Ok, that part is a bit of a joke, but if you take a look in the "Related Links" section, you will find a link to the Wonders in Wood site, wich is in the works right now, but will be up soon...
